As we begin Pride Month 2025 the Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus reminds the world that Pride is something no would be dictator, no faux puritanical political movement can ever erase.
From long before the Stonewall Inn and the Compton Cafeteria the same forces of repression we face today have proclaimed themselves the controllers of our lives. From long before the Stonewall Inn and the Compton Cafeteria we have risen.
Now, as always, we are called upon to proclaim and defend our freedom, our inalienable right to live out loud, to love who we love, to grow and thrive.
On June 1 Pride Month begins, but we stand with the National Federation of Stonewall Democrats to remind all that, in truth, Pride never ends.
